Сегодня хотелось бы поговорить и дать клише на сравнение картинок для ЕГЭ.
Поговорим о том, какие требования есть в этой части, как к ней готовиться, а также представлю шаблон сравнения картинок на английском языке.
В чем цель этого задания?
— уметь изъясняться на английском языке свободно и без подготовки, сравнивать вещи, предметы, события.
— владеть хорошим вокабуляром.
— уметь использовать грамматические структуры соответствующего уровня.
Важно!
— продолжительность вашего монолога. Она должна составлять не менее 2 минут. Если вы говорите меньше — вам снижают баллы.
Вот примерный план, по которому необходимо вести свой монолог. Изучите две фотографии. Будьте готовы сравнить их. Прежде, чем приступить к описанию картинок, у вас есть несколько секунд для анализа и обдумывания своего ответа.
— Дайте краткое описание картинок. В этой части вы начинаете с небольшого вступления и описания того, что находится на картинках. Одна из самых распространенных ошибок — забыть про него и приступать сразу к сравнению.
— Скажите, что есть общего в картинках. Примерно 20 секунд. Даем 2-3 аспекта, в чем фотографии одинаковы.
— Опишите, чем они отличаются. Аналогично с предыдущим пунктом — у вас будет примерно 20 секунд на противопоставление этих фотографий.
— Выразите свое мнение, какая картинка вам больше всего нравится и почему.

Советы:
— Говорить меньше 2 минут нельзя. Научитесь чувствовать время. Пробуйте записывать себя на диктофон и проверять ваше описание по секундомеру.
— Расширяйте свой словарный запас. Без хорошей лексики на экзамене никуда.
— Выучите типовые фразы, запомните клише и следуйте за опытом тысяч людей, уже справившихся с этим до вас.
— Практикуйтесь. Чем больше, тем лучше, но хотя бы 2-3 раза в неделю. Пусть наши клише станут для вас как те пресловутые: «London is a capital of Great Britain». J

It shows three members of a volleyball team. They are at the height of the fighting for the ball. In the second picture you see three pretty girls who are relaxing to the full extent dancing and maybe singing.
Obviously, these photos have much in common. First of all, the number of persons shown in the pictures is the same. There are three persons in the first case, and there are three persons in the second case. In addition to it, I dare say that both actions are happening inside a building, not in the open air.
If you take a closer look, you can’t help noticing some differences. In the first picture we see a moment that is extremely tense. The volleyball players are straining themselves as much as possible to return a ball. On the contrary, in the second picture the girls are trying to relax and zone out. In addition to it, the photos differ from each other in the way the girls are dressed. The volleyball players are wearing a special uniform consisting of shorts and T-shirts. The dancing girls are wearing cool dresses, which are quite casual.
As for me, I’d prefer playing volleyball because sport makes us strong and healthy.
In conclusion I’d like to say that there many ways of spending free time. You should choose your own way considering your purposes, physical and mental state.

Moreover, the color of her hair is different too, black in picture one and light in picture two.

Personally, I would prefer reading e-books.

As for me, I like reading a few books at the same time. Because, having one e-book reader allows a person to have all the books they want in one place. It’s like a personal library. It’s not comfortable for me to carry a couple kilos of regular books in my bag.

It seems to me that it’s autumn in the first picture and summer in the second one.

Personally, I think that it would be better for bears to live in the wild rather than at a zoo.

In my opinion living in the wild is for wild animals. I believe they would feel better there and much happier.

1.Что такое стандарт и типичные ошибки при сравнении фотографий
Стандарт (от англ. standard — норма, образец) в широком смысле слова — образец, эталон, модель, принимаемые за исходные для сопоставления с ними др. подобных объектов.
Иными словами, стандарт — это определенный шаблон, по которому вас оценивают эксперты. Отступление от стандарта грозит вам лишением баллов. Да, печально, но уже со школьной скамьи приучают нас быть одинаковыми, стандартными, иначе…
Ладно, перейдем ближе к делу, а именно к сравнению двух фотографий на английском языке. Данное задание (задание 4) относится к высокому уровню сложности и содержит много подводных камней, которые надо обойти.
Вот пример сравнения двух фотографий, которое, кажется, вполне нормальным с точки зрения здравого смысла, но содержит ошибки с точки зрения стандарта.

Прочитайте внимательно это описание:
Well, both pictures show an animal, the bear. I would like to start with the first picture that shows a big polar bear in the zoo. The bear is sitting on a stone with its paws up. It is not looking at people, it looks aside and it seems that it is tired of so much attention. A lot of people have gathered near the open-air cage, taking pictures. As the people are wearing warm coats and caps, it is probably late autumn. The colours in this picture are grey and dark.
As for the second picture, it also shows a bear, but it is a brown bear. It is completely different from the first one as it shows the bear in the wild. In contrast to the first picture, the second one is full of bright colours: yellow flowers, green grass. It shows a summer day. The bear is busy, it is carrying a log. I like this picture more and not only because I like summer but also because I believe that keeping wild animals in zoos is inhuman. Although some people say that it is necessary for some educational purposes, to say nothing of entertaiment.
All in all, both pictures make me think of wildlife. As for me, I am sure that wild animals should live free in their natural habitat because they are part of nature.

Попробуем разобраться в этом. Но сначала давайте выясним, что думаете Вы :

Да, действительно, на момент написания статьи (дата: 9 января 2015 года) данное задание находилось в стадии апробации. И никто еще толком не знал, как же сравнить две фотографии максимально «правильно» с точки зрения стандарта. Но вот прошли семинары, пробные экзамены и, вроде как, разобрались, наконец! Что ж, надо и нам стандартизировать описание, чем и займемся сейчас.
Обратимся к опциям, которые надо раскрыть:
Первое, и самое важное, это решение коммуникативной задачи (или содержание): нужно по каждому аспекту сказать по 2-3 фразы. Итого получится примерно 12-15 фраз. — Меньше недостаточно! Больше можно, но главное уложиться в 2 минуты, потому что потом Вас просто не будет слышно…

As for the second photo, it shows a brown bear in the forest. The bear is carrying a log and looks quite happy. The season is probably summer.

И вот одно из важных испытаний, через которое вам придется пройти — это сравнить картинки. Сегодня я расскажу вам, какие требования есть в этой части, как к ней готовиться, а также дам шаблон сравнения картинок на английском языке для егэ и приведу примеры, как это лучше всего сделать.

В чем цель этого задания?
Одно дело, если вы можете выражать свои мысли заученными готовыми фразами. Но тогда шанс вашего успеха на экзамене крайне низкий. Ведь там тестируются ваши способности неподготовленной речи, способности анализировать информацию и делать выводы прямо здесь и сейчас.
Требования к выполнению задания
Требования к этому тесту такие же, как, в общем, и к вашим знаниям английского. Но это задание считается уже более сложным, чем просто описание фотографии. Ведь здесь:
- Вы должны уметь изъясняться на английском языке свободно и без подготовки, при этом владея навыком сравнения вещей, предметов, событий (и употребляя при этом подходящие выражения).
- Вы должны владеть хорошим лексическим запасом, а также уметь использовать грамматические структуры соответствующего уровня.
- Важное требование — длительность вашего монолога. Она должна составлять не менее 2 минут. Ведь если вы говорите меньше — вам снимают баллы.
По какому плану отвечать
Формулировка заданий, где происходит сравнение двух картинок, редко меняется, поэтому даже за год до экзамена вы можете быть уверенным в его структуре. Вот примерный план, по которому нужно вести свой монолог.
- Изучите две фотографии. Будьте готовы сравнить фотографии.
Прежде, чем приступить к описанию картинок, у вас есть пару секунд, чтобы их проанализировать и даже в голове сложить небольшой скелет своего ответа.
- Дайте краткое описание картинок.
В этой части вы начинаете с небольшого вступления и описания того, что находится на картинках. Одна из самых распространенных ошибок сдающих тест — забывать про него и приступать сразу к сравнению.
- Скажите, что есть общего в картинках.
Примерно 20 секунд у вас может занять рассказ, в чем же картинки схожи. Дайте 2-3 аспекта, в чем фотографии идентичны, и двигайтесь дальше.
- Скажите, чем они отличаются.
Аналогично с предыдущим пунктом — у вас будет примерно 20 секунд на противопоставление этих фотографий.
- Какая картинка вам больше всего нравится и почему.
Формулировка этого пункта будет зависеть от конкретных фотографий. Например, если вы сравниваете две картинки, где люди занимаются экстремальным спортом, то предположительно вопрос может быть следующим: «какой вид спорта вы бы предпочли и почему?»

Конечно, оставить вас без примеров было бы крайне некрасиво. Поэтому я подготовила для вас образец, как легко справится с этим заданием.
- Well, I would like to compare and contrast these two pictures. It is quite obvious that the pictures are connected by the same topic — environmental pollution. (Использование слова «well» может помочь вам сохранить 1-2 секунды, если вы не знаете, что сказать или с чего начать. Кроме того, рекомендуется в первых предложениях обобщить, что эти картинки связаны одной темой).
- I’d like to start with describing the first picture. It shows a person throwing a banana skin out of the car window. It seems that the car is stuck in the traffic jam. As for the second picture, it shows a man sitting on the rubbish bins. There are three containers that are aimed at separating rubbish. The man is holding different items in his hands: a plastic bottle and some paper. (Не вдавайтесь в длительные описания лишь бы сократить время на все остальное. Каждая часть плана оценивается отдельно, поэтому 2 предложений-описаний на каждую картинку будет вполне достаточно).
- The pictures do not have a lot in common. As I have already mentioned, they both deal with environmental pollution and what people do with this problem. (Даже если вам нечего сказать в сравнении — используйте хотя бы пару предложений и, так уж и быть, очевидные вещи. Но сказать, чем картинки похожи нужно обязательно).
- Though, both pictures have great differences. In the first picture this person is throwing away the food just outside the car. There seems to be no containers for rubbish so the person is about to harm the environment. While in the second picture the man seems to encourage people to use separate containers. (На противопоставлении все аналогично).
- In my opinion the situation in the second picture is much better as it is aimed at saving the environment. I wish there were more such people as in the second picture as the environmental problems affect everyone, so we should promote more careful attitude to our nature as it’s shown in the second picture. (Выражение своего мнения и его объяснение — важная часть. Здесь вы можете проявить свою хорошую лексическую подготовку, потому что во всех предыдущих пунктах 50% вашей речи занимают готовые фразы).

Ребята, уверена, что уметь задавать вопросы на английском — очень нужный навык. Например, он пригодится в задании ЕГЭ, где необходимо задать несколько вопросов по картинке. Советы от преподавателя
Конечно, оставить вас без моих советов и рекомендаций я не могу. Поэтому вот вам 4 главных совета, как сделать сравнение двух картинок более легким и успешным.
- Учитывайте типичные ошибки.
Различные форумы, статьи и личный опыт других людей, которые прошли через этот задание, могут помочь вам не наступать на чужие грабли. Все без исключения делают ошибки в начале. И если вы готовитесь самостоятельно, тогда вам просто крайне необходимо понимать, в чем чаще всего возникают проблемы.
- Научитесь чувствовать время.
Да, говорить меньше 2 минут нельзя. Но в самом начале эти две минуты кажутся вечностью, которую невозможно преодолеть. Пробуйте каждый день засекать себе время и делать что-то на протяжении двух минут. Помните упражнение, где нужно 5 минут описывать сковородку? Идите по тому же принципу, только сократите время до 2 минут. Результат вам гарантирован.
- Расширяйте свой словарный запас.
Без хорошей лексики на экзамене никуда. Увы, но такова правда. Нельзя прийти на тест с арсеналом лексики уровня Elementary и пытаться там всех «сразить». Выучите типовые фразы, запомните клише и следуйте за опытом тысяч людей, уже справившихся с этим до вас.
- Практикуйтесь.
Этот пункт, конечно, можно было бы поставить на первое место и больше ничего не писать. Но я решила сделать все наоборот. Без практики у вас ничего не выйдет. Все. Точка. Больше добавлять, собственно, и нечего. Вы не можете ожидать, что блестяще справитесь с заданием, только полагаясь на какие-то свои внутренние ощущения. Делайте его хотя бы раз в неделю, — а лучше раз в 2-3 дня.
Нет ничего лучше, чем использовать книгу-тренажер для подготовки к ЕГЭ. Типовые экзаменационные варианты (составленные в соответствии с проектом демоверсии КИМ ЕГЭ по английскому языку) и ответы ко всем заданиям помогут приблизиться к наивысшим баллам.

Наконец-то я созрела для написания этого поста. Вопрос актуальный и многие читатели меня спрашивали, буду ли я писать подобный пост, как и с описанием картинок.
В общем, сегодня я познакомлю вас с моим видением задания №4 из устной части ЕГЭ — сравнение картинок. Если у вас будут замечания, пишите в комментарии, вместе обсудим.
Сразу скажу, что шаблон ниже, в основном, рассчитан на детей с невысоким уровнем английского, но которых тоже надо готовить к ЕГЭ, поэтому строго не судите!
Просмотрев многие издания, где рассказывается об устной части, я решила составить свой шаблон, используя фразы и клише из разных книг. Я думаю, так многие учителя делают-подбирают что-то среднее, удобное для запоминания!
Итак, возьмём в качестве образца следующее задание.

These two photos have a lot in common. The main similarity between these two photos is the desire to win. Another similarity is the feelings and emotions of players. They are very excited and concentrated.
However, these photos have some differences. Firstly, the photos were taken indoor and outdoor. The second difference is the clothes they are wearing. In the photo on the right the football players have a special uniform. Thirdly, it is the numbers of players.
As for me, I would prefer to play table football because I am keen on this game very much. I think it’s very exciting and I recommend everyone to play it. I’m not a big fan of football. Moreover, it’s hard to run over 90 minutes, especially when it’s cold outside.

facilities such as flying rings, a gymstick, a rope, a hoop and others.
All in all, it seems to me that the gym is quite large and light.
As for the second picture it shows a young man running in the field. It might be summer
time because he is wearing a green t-shirt, black shorts and white sports
shoes. Also, he is wearing a watch on his wrist for timing his
heats. Though the sky is blue and the weather is warm and sunny you can see two
mountain peaks covered with snow in the background of the picture.
As I’ve already mentioned both pictures are connected with doing sports. You can’t but agree
with me that both — a girl and a young man look fit and
healthy.

Obviously, we can see certain (some) differences. The first picture shows a little girl whose hobby is
playing tennis. On the contrary, the man in
the second picture is a professional sportsman as he
looks very sporty and strong. Besides, the first picture
shows the girl who is playing tennisindoors while the young
man is going in for sports in the open air. Moreover, table
tennis is a team game and you need at least one more person to
play it with. As to the track-and- field athletics, you can do it on
your own.
As for me, I’d prefer to take
up to table tennis because I am fond of doing sports with my best friends or
relatives. Secondly, this game develops quick thinking and
reaction. Finally, you can do it outdoors as well as indoors and
bad weather cannot spoil the pleasure.
In conclusion, I would like to say
that both pictures make me think that sport is a great way to spend your free
time and, of course, it is useful for your health.
That’s all I wanted to say. Thank you for listening. / That’s

Let me start with the first picture that
shows a group of young people who are at work now. The man on the right and a
young woman in a black suit are sitting around the table while the woman in a
beautiful white suit is standing at the moment. Unfortunately, I can’t see the
face of their boss who is giving them some instructions. They are listening to
him very attentively. It looks as if they are ready to make some notes because
you can see pads (notebooks) in front of them.
As for the second picture I have
the impression that the group of young people is enjoying their free time
sitting on the grass. I can only guess that they might be co-students at the
international language school because you can see them carrying their
workbooks. They are probably having their break time now. As the weather is
warm and sunny, they decided to spend it in the school yard. They all are
smiling and look very happy so I think they did their test successfully.
I should say that the only similarity between
picture 1 and picture 2 is that they depict young people who are practically of
the same age.
One of the main differences between
pictures is that in the left picture you can see two men and two women (four
people) working in the office, whereas in the right picture
there are two girls and a boy who are having a rest in the open air. The
most obvious difference for me between these two pictures
is people’s clothes. For example, people in the first picture are wearing
suits according to the dress code of their firm, while people in the
right picture are wearing casual clothes such as jeans,
jumpers and trainers.
As for me, I would rather go to a
language school because my dream is to speak English fluently. Moreover, it
would be interesting to make some new friends from abroad.
To sum it up, I would like to say that to work or to study together with smart and intelligent

I would like to compare and contrast these two
photos.
I think the common thing here is classical music.
Photo 1
Let me start with the first picture which shows a young girl who is performing on the stage at the moment.
She is wearing a white blouse and a dark skirt. She is playing the grand piano
together with a string orchestra. In the background of the picture there
is a beautiful organ. In the foreground of the picture you can see
a lot of spectators. That’s why I can say that music is not just her hobby but
she is involved in it very seriously.

As for the second picture it also shows a young girl playing the piano. She looks very elegant in
her black velvet dress. As you can see she is wearing glasses. In the
background of the picture you can see a portrait of a famous composer.
Unfortunately I’m not very good at classical music that’s why I don’t know his
name. Under the portrait there is a basket of lovely roses, so I can
only guess that it might be the anniversary of the
composer.
As I have already mentioned the theme which relates both
pictures is classical music. The most
obvious similarity between photo 1 and photo 2 is the
musical instrument the girls are playing and it is a piano. It is
evident that the girls are practically of the same age. In my
opinion, they might be very talented.
You can’t but agree with me that the main difference between picture 1 and picture 2 is that the girl in the
first picture is performing in a big concert hall whereas the girl in the
second picture is playing the piano in a small room.(It is probably the
classroom in a local Art School.) Besides, the girls are wearing
different items of clothes. Last but not least, in the first
picture you can see a lot of audience while in the second picture we cannot see
any listeners.
As for me, I would rather go to a
big concert hall because I’ve always wanted to listen to the organ.
Summarizing, I may say that it is great to have a good ear for music and play a musical
instrument because music always makes your life brighter. (23)

стандартными, иначе… Ну да ладно, перейдем ближе к делу, а именно к сравнению двух фотографий на
английском языке. Данное
задание (задание 4) относится к
высокому уровню сложности и
содержит много подводных камней, которые надо обойти. Вот пример сравнения двух
фотографий, которое,
кажется, вполне нормальным с точки зрения здравого смысла, но содержит ошибки с
точки зрения стандарта.

Well, both pictures
show an animal, the bear. I would like to
start with the first picture that shows a big polar bear in the zoo. The bear
is sitting on a stone with its paws up. It is not looking at people, it looks
aside and it seems that it is tired of so much attention. A lot of people have
gathered near the open-air cage, taking pictures. As the people are wearing
warm coats and caps, it is probably late autumn. The colours in this picture
are grey and dark.
As for the second
picture, it also shows a bear, but it is a
brown bear. It is completely
different from the first one as it shows the
bear in the wild. In contrast
to the first picture, the
second one is full of bright colours: yellow flowers, green grass. It shows a
summer day. The bear is busy, it is carrying a log. I like this picture more and not only because I like summer but
also because I believe that keeping wild animals in zoos is inhuman. Although
some people say that it is necessary for some educational purposes, to say
nothing of entertaiment.
All in all, both pictures
make me think of wildlife. As for me, I
am sure that wild animals should live free in their natural habitat because
they are part of nature.

[Введение] Well, I would like to compare and contrast the photos which are presented here.
Obviously, both photos
are related to the same theme. It is animal life.
[Аспект 1] Let me start with the first photo
which shows a polar bear in
the zoo. A lot of people have gathered around its open-air cage. They are
taking pictures.
As for the second
photo, it shows a brown bear in the
forest. The bear is carrying a log and looks quite happy. The season is
probably summer.
[Аспект 2] The photos have little in common.
The only similarity is that they show an
animal, the bear.
[Аспект 3] Obviously, there are a lot of differences. The first photo shows a bear in the
zoo but, in contrast, the
second one shows a bear in
its natural habitat, the forest.
Besides, the bear in
the first photo looks gloomy whereas in the second one the bear seems rather happy and
lively.
Finally, the season is
different. The sad and gloomy colours of the first photo are contrasted to the bright and cheerful colours of the
second one.
